As a husband and wife team, our story started during our experiences in renovating our own homes, and the feeling that there was always something to be improved upon in the world of home renovation and construction. Whether it was a contractor being late, a lack of communication from a project manager, or a crew just leaving the workspace dirty, we knew it could and should be better.

We took over the job of renovating our own homes and investment properties in 2010, and soon learned that we truly enjoyed utilizing our attention to detail and vision for what a space could become. The more successful projects we completed for ourselves, the more we began helping friends and family with theirs. We weeded through the bad contractors and formed a team of our very favorite, cost-effective, and hardest working people that we love and trust to help us.

As we are both licensed realtors as well, we have found that it is a perfect complement (and unique offering) to be able to look at a project with a client, and give honest and valuable knowledge in regards to the effect of their project on their potential resale value. We enjoy being able to combine knowledge from both angles to help you make informed decisions.

Before HCM Renovations came to be, we met at Ohio University, where Aly played soccer and Hayden played baseball. Since then, we have moved back to Dublin (where Aly grew up), and now have 3 daughters of our own: Harper (7), Carter (5), and Monroe (2) (their initials are where the HCM name comes from, and a reminder to us each day of why we work hard).

We understand that your house is both your greatest investment, and more importantly where you call home with your own family, and we believe that it is an honor and privilege to help you in that space.
